Who We Are
Together With Us is a youth-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2021. Our mission is to bridge the gap between human empathy and innovative problem-solving to serve those in need. What began as a local community initiative has evolved into a multi-sector organization that manages local outreach for underserved families, supports patient wellness in regional hospitals, and leads international fund drives. By combining hands-on compassion with strategic partnerships, we create measurable, lasting impact.
Founders
Ansh Gupta — Co-Founder, Executive Director & Lead Innovator
Ansh co-founded Together With Us in 2021 at the age of 11, driven by years of accompanying his mother — a public health researcher — to homeless shelters, food banks, and community drives across the Greater Seattle area. He noticed rampant homelessness, students without basic school supplies, and elderly individuals who seemed invisible to the world around them. Those experiences led him to ask two questions he has never stopped asking: "Why do these disparities exist?" and "What can those of us with more resources do to help?"
He started small — recruiting five friends from elementary school to raise funds for homeless adults in North Bend. Ansh has always been a builder. As a kid, he designed a self-timed switch to turn on his bedroom lights and built a functional dollhouse elevator for his little sister — not from a kit, but from scratch, with whatever materials he could find. That same drive now pushed him to build something far larger. Over five years, he grew Together With Us into a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with 50+ youth volunteers, institutional partnerships with the Overlake Hospital Foundation and Sukarya in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and measurable impact across the US and India. Along the way, he learned that impact is not only about building solutions, but also about showing up consistently and listening to what people actually need.
As Executive Director, Ansh leads the organization's strategic direction, volunteer mobilization, and partnership development. Alongside his nonprofit work, Ansh is passionate about leveraging AI or latest technology to solve real-world issues. He developed a) Refluent — the first personalized AI communication tool for stroke survivors with Non-Fluent Aphasia, now piloting with 100 patients across partner hospitals in New Delhi, b) A spatial machine learning framework for drug overdose hotspot prediction recognized with 2nd Place at the WA State Regional Science & Engineering Fair (2026), and c) Safe Circle, an AI-powered platform for student safety and early intervention.
Ansh holds a 4.0 GPA at The Overlake School in Redmond, WA, and aspires to conduct deeply interdisciplinary research at the intersection of AI and social sciences.
Outside his research and nonprofit work, Ansh is a budding photographer and president of his school's photography club. He also loves to cook and play basketball.
Anaisha Gupta — Co-Founder
Anaisha joined Together With Us alongside her brother Ansh in 2022 at the age of 8, bringing a perspective that is entirely her own — creative, deeply empathetic, and attuned to the emotions of those around her. Where others might see a fundraiser or a volunteer event, Anaisha sees an opportunity to make someone feel truly seen.
Her commitment deepened three years ago during the school supplies drive, when she came face to face with the reality of what underserved elementary school children go without. That experience moved her profoundly and made her decision clear: she wanted to contribute to Together With Us not just as a participant, but in her own distinctive way.
And she has. Most of the Helping Hands projects on this website carry Anaisha's fingerprints — handmade cards for hospital patients who cannot go home for the holidays, art delivered to seniors in assisted living who have little family contact, and creative projects designed to bring a moment of joy to people in their hardest times. She brings her art skills not as a hobby but as a tool for human connection.
Anaisha is also a young entrepreneur. She creates and sells her own artwork, directing the proceeds back into the community — a quiet but powerful expression of her belief that creativity and generosity belong together.
At 11 years old, she already understands something that takes many people a lifetime to learn: that showing up with care, consistency, and a handmade card can matter just as much as any grand solution. Together With Us is where she gets to be exactly who she is — and make a difference because of it. Anaisha is now an active contributor to the organization's outreach programs, fundraising events, and community partnerships.
Outside her nonprofit work, Anaisha is an artist, a tennis player, and a basketball enthusiast — never far from a canvas or a court.
